Systematic and Random errors in prostate treatments

Prostate treatments, the largest sources of geometric uncertainty are given by the tumor inter-fraction movements and those associated with the daily patient positioning. One of the solutions that have been taken to eliminate the sources of uncertainty, is the implantation of fiducials marks in the prostate. The objective of this work is the analysis of the data of displacements carried out according to those marks and use these results to calculate what would be the value of systematic and random uncertainty in treatments in which these fiducials marks are not used.
