Dynamic behaviors of the faulted ground

  • 1. Department of Civil Engineering, Seoul National University, Seoul (Korea, Republic of)

Description

In this paper, impedance functions of the faulted ground are obtained. The analysis is carried out by using finite element method. The foundation is assumed as strip foundation and located on the elastic half space. The faulted ground is modelled as two different elastic media. Numerical results of impedance function are presented. (author)
