Indistinguishable particles: Definitions and implications
Creators
Description
Defining indistinguishability by means of the symmetry of the state we compare this definition with the traditional viewpoint, show that this procedure allows for the definition of a concept of indistinguishable classical particles which is compatible with the quantum notion, and introduce a straightforward quantum generalization of classical Maxwell-Boltzmann statistics, namely Maxwell-Boltzmann symmetric states.
