Visualizing information for the nuclear industry

Description

The speed and capacity of modern personal computers, coupled with advanced graphics and man-machine interface capabilities, has provided an elegant tool for the online interpretation and visualization of experimental data, the visualization of results from analysis codes, computer-assisted training, part-task simulators and computer enhanced training/presentation video production. Each of these applications is composed of common elements: a data source, a processor, and a graphical user interface. The distinguishing feature among these applications is the amount of interaction provided between the user and the display computer.
