Electron d-state peculiarities and structure transition in high temperature superconductors La2CuO4 type

Description
Microscopic model of structural phase transitions in high-temperature superconductors of La2CuO4 type is suggested. The model connects them with mixing of d-levels of copper, splitted in crystal field (Jahn-Teller pseudoeffect). Some consequences of the model for superconductivity have been discussed
