Process systems control and instrumentation

Creators

Description

Process Systems Control and Instrumentation can be considered under two general categorisations, firstly, Process Fluid Systems C and I including main steam, condensate and feedwater systems and secondly, a number of specific instrumentation systems for individual functions in the plant such as the chemical analysis of the non-nuclear energy, conveying fluids in various parts of the cycle. The requirements and the decisions taken about the use of microprocessor-based programmable logic controllers and process controllers are discussed. In all 226 panels, 98 racks and well over 1000 locally mounted devices are required and have to be supplied, installed and commissioned. (Author)
