Description
It is proposed to take up radioactive waste materials present as solution or suspension in a precoated filter, to free the latter from the liquid by freeze-drying and to then completely enclose it with a solidifying agent. Hardening plastics as well as alkali silicates are suitable for this purpose. An appropriate system is described in great detail. (orig./PW)
