Phase relations in the HgCr2Se4-CdCl2 system

Description
The phase relations in the HgCr2Se4-CdCl2 system have been investigated using differential thermal analysis and X-ray diffraction, and the primary crystallization field of the spinel phase in this system has been located: 560-750 deg C, 84-97 mol % CdCl2. By optimizing growth conditions and using CdCl2 as a flux, monocrystals of Hg1-xCdxCr2Se4 solid solutions containing up to 5 wt % Cd have been grown

Методами дифференциального термического анализа и рентгенофазового анализа изучено взаимодействие тетраселенида дихрома-ртути с дихлоридом кадмия. Определена область первичного выделения HgCr2Se4, которая соответствует интервалу температур 560-750 град С и концентраций CdCl2 84-97 мол. %. Найдены оптимальные условия выращивания и получены монокристаллы твердых растворов Hg1-xCdxCr2Se4, содержащих до 5% Cd, кристаллизацией из раствора в расплаве CdCl2Additional details
