To the theory of light scattering in quantum crystals
Description
Rayleigh scattering of light or neutrons in quantum crystals of the Fermi-type (solid He3) is studied. To this end the fluctuation correlator of density is calculated which allows one to find the differential coefficient for light extinction, the differential cross section of scattering and neutron reflection coefficient. It is shown that on Rayleigh scattering of light in solid He3 it might be feasible to detect collective excitations which are coupled oscillations of the lattice site density and defecton density
