Pressure-induced changes in the structure of La2CuO4

Description

The structure of La2CuO4 at a pressure of 5.4 GPa has been examined by roentgenography using a Merrill-Bassett pressurized cell, in order to ascertain the effects of pressure on the crystal structure and the enhancement of the critical onset temperature, possibly arising from the structural changes. Die Struktur von La2CuO4 bei einem Druck von 5.4 GPa wurde roentgenographisch mit Hilfe einer Merrill-Bassett-Druckzelle bestimmt, um moegliche Zusammenhaenge zwischen der Aenderung der Struktur und der Erhoehung der Supraleiter-Sprungtemperatur mit dem Druck zu erkennen. (orig.)
