Gas eliminating determination by polymer materials located in in the 'Ukrittya' unit
Description
The authors analyzed different variants of radioactive gas eliminating sources structure. Major radionuclides: α-, β-, and γ-radiation were considered. It is shown that the main contribution to gas elimination generation by organic polymers is made by beta-radiators: 90Sr and 137Cs. The paper provides data of structure and radioactive gas release from specific polymers in the Ukryttia' unit
