This document aims to be a guide summary for the application of the ASME AG-1 code compared to other standards such as ANSI/ASME N509 had been used so far. He is considered, the evolution that has had CONAGT (ASME Committee on Nuclear Air and Gas Treatment) over time as well as progress on the future of this Committee. It is important that legislation is clear and not entail to messages confusing with different sources of information. ASME AG-1 is the last code and also the most complete application in nuclear power plants for the treatment of air and gas.
