Operation of the 400-750kV pulse voltage multi-cascade discriminator

Description
The exact calculation of multi-cascade discriminator voltage loss has urged us to increase the number of cascades up to 32. In addition the assemblies of KVI-3 capacitors with equivalent capacitance approx 1000pF were mounted in bridge to all diodes(both direct and inverse). They serve to eliminate the cascades overvoltage when breakdowns in accelerating tube or high-voltage transformer occur
