Description
The structure of low-lying states in 85Rb and highly excited states in 86Sr has been studied within the framework of the shell model. The calculation predicts the occurrence of states in 86Sr with a structure homologous to parent states in 85Rb, a phenomenon experimentally observed in other regions of the mass table via (p→,α) reactions.
