Measurement of fission neutron spectra of 252Cf in the energy range from 0.02 to 2.0 MeV

Description
The measurements were made by time-of-flight method. The crystal 6LiI(Eu) was used as a neutron detector. The special design of fission and neutron detectors, the low background of scattered neutrons, more precise data on the effectiveness of the neutron detector, the modification of the electronic scheme of the spectrometer enabled to increase the accuracy of the measurements of 252Cf fission neutron spectrum for the energy interval of 0.02 - 2.0 MeV
