Studies of ion Bernstein wave heating in the HT-7 tokamak
Creators
Description
Ion Bernstein wave heating is investigated in the HT-7 tokamak. During heating, the plasma parameters, such as density, temperature, increase considerably and confinements improve as well. The heating efficiency, measured by heating factor (ΔTne/PRF), gets maximum when density is in the range of (2.5-3.5) x 1013 cm-3. The parameter profiles can be control by changing the power deposition location. Confinement improvement is observed by combining off-axis electron heating and pellet injection
