Stellarator with elliptical minor cross section
Description
A possibility to construct a stellarator magnetic configuration with the improved properties for MHD plasma confinement and transfer processes realizing in it is considered in the framework of the system with a mean ellipticity of a minor cross section. The system type considered is shown to possess quite a great set shown to possess quite a great set of parameters allowing to optimize their properties (reaching not inconsistently transfer reduction several times with sufficiently large beta, being not at a disadvantage in relation to the optimal variants of the system with a ring cross section) with moderate ellipticity
