Reconstruction of the system of high pressure heaters in 'Oslomej' power plant - Kichevo (Macedonia)

Immediately after the commissioning of the Power Plant 'Oslomej' - Kicevo, it was detected malfunctioning of the automatic regulation system of the high pressure heaters (HPH). By the means of manual level maintain, full or partial by-passing of HPH by applying water, as well as rejecting the condensed flow to the effluent collecting tank or condenser, the working personal tried to ensure necessary working conditions, followed by energy losses, surplus of fuel consumption, additional air pollution, high thermal elongation, increased thrust in the axial bear and a lot of problems with steam inlet parameters. In this paper the preposition and execution of a new solution is presented. Through authors' self solution as well as use of contemporary equipment for power, control and regulation (HONEYWELL, KSB), a reconstruction of the system (HPH) has been successfully done. (author)
