The synthesis of tetra (2-methoxy isobutyl isonitrile) cuprous borofluoride and the preparation of 99Tcm-MIBI

Description
The synthesis of Cu(MIBI)4BF4, the preparation of 99Tcm-MIBI and the animal studies are reported in this paper. Cu(MIBI)4BF4 is a white solid. The IR, NMR, MS and elementary analysis are consistent with the structure of Cu(MIBI)BF4. The effects of pH value, weights of Cu(MIBI)4BF4 and FSA, volume of 99TcmO4- solution and heating time on the labelling yields of 99Tcm-MIBI are also discussed. From the kit made of Cu(MIBI)4BF4, the labelling yields of 99Tcm-MIBI are over 90%. The animal studies and preliminary clinical application prove that 99Tcm-MIBI is a potentially useful myocardial perfusion imaging agent
