Notes on stripper-foil lifetimes
Description
A test method for predicting the lifetimes of glow discharge carbon stripper foils for the ORNL EN tandem accelerator is described. The method is based on bombarding carbon foils with 20 keV nitrogen ions in a General Ionex Sputter Bell
