Regulation concerning the grant of radiation protection licenses for nuclear installations - nuclear installation licensing regulation - of 21th June 1979

The procedure applied in the GDR granting radiation protection licenses for nuclear installations is laid down. The licensing process comprises the following stages: siting, construction, commissioning, operation, and decommissioning. The licensing requirements (documents and additional information) are summarized in an annex. This regulation replaces the regulation of December 4, 1969 and is in accordance with the recommendations published by the IAEA
