On physical nature of working fluid flow in chambers of turbine labyrinth seals
- 1. Gosudarstvennyj Tekhnicheskij Univ., Bryansk (Russian Federation)
Description
Problems of the investigation of working fluid flow in turbines having cellular seals are discussed. The model of fluid flow in seal chambers of cellular structure is considered. Techniques of calculation of resistance and friction factors in labyrinth seal chambers are suggested. Optimal geometric sizes of cells of a cellular seal are defined. 10 refs., 3 figs
