X-ray diffraction study of transformations in zirconium dioxide after explosive loading
Creators
Description
Tetragonal ZrCl2 with ultra dispersed structure was investigated before and after explosive loading. Monoclinic phase quantity increase is achieved. The profile of X-ray diffraction lines enabled a conclusion on the presence of domain structure of ZrO2 ferro-elastic phase and the nature of its variation under explosion and subsequent annealing. A stabilizing effect of 20% Al2O3 additive is shown
