Extraction X-ray fluorescence method of separate determination of zirconium and hafnium in molybdenum alloys

  • 1. Permskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ. (USSR)

Description

A method of determination > 0.01% zirconium and hafnium at their joint presence in molybdenum alloys, containing nickel, titanium and tantalum is developed. Zirconium and hafnium sum was extracted by diantipyrylmethane chloroform solution at pH >= 6N in relation to HNO3. Zirconium and hafnium fluorescence was registered on the ''Bars-1'' diffractionless analyser. The calibration diagram is linear at zorconium and hafnium content of 0.05-1.5% in specimen of 0.5g. The variation coefficient is 6-7%, the analysis duration is 5 hours
