Trace Element Analysis Of Zn In Serum By Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry Method

  • 1. Centre for Research and Development of Advanced Technology, National Atomic Energy Agency, Yogyakarta (ID)

Description

Analysis of trace element Zn in serum sample by flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry method was carry out. The analysis of Zn was done at optimum condition as follow: wavelength of Zn 213.9 nm, the sample flow 4.5 ml/minute, the ratio of air with acetylene flow 13.5 : 1.78 I/minute, lamp current 5 mA, and burner height 10 mm. The range of linear calibration curve was obtained at the concentration of Zn 0.1 - 0.5 ppm with linear regression (r) 0.99987. The content of Zn in 10 samples were obtained at the range concentration of 1,5 - 5,75 ppm with deviation standard under 5 %
