The article describes legal regulations concerning radiological protection in Poland. The sources of radiological hazard, recognized by the regulations are listed. Regulations concerning maximal radiation doses, dosimetry, personnel training and radioactive wastes are reviewed. The article gives account of regulations concerning exposure to natural radiation such as accumulation of radon in buildings
