Nonlinear dynamics of the microwaves excitation by the REB in the split resonators

Description
The excitation process of the 0-types and π-types of electromagnetic oscillations by the REB in the split resonator is investigated. It is shown, that in the case of π-type oscillation excitation instability develops for more shot resonators, than in case 0-type. On the nonlinear stage of the instability excitation of oscillation π-type leads to formation of the virtual cathode in system. Virtual cathode transforms solid RED in sequence of the electron bunches
