Description
The isothermal and isochronal transfer annealing was studied in 131I- doped KIO3 in sealed as well as in open tubes. The role of iodine vapour and the dissolution pH were also investigated. A mechanism based on solid state reactions is proposed to explain the experimental results. (author)
