Applying radionuclides to the problems of industry

Creators

  • 1. Australian Atomic Energy Commission Research Establishment, Lucas Heights

Description

Many industrial processes require periodic checking to determine whether they are operating correctly and efficiently, whether there are changes in behaviour, and what their effect is on the environment. The use of radionuclides as tracers is shown to have a number of advantages over dyes, fluorescent materials and other chemicals in a wide range of industrial applications
