Investigation of manganese(2) coprecipitation on magnesium and zirconium hydroxides

Description
Coprecipitation of manganese(2) on magnesium and zirconium hydroxides was studied by the ESR method. In pH range 6-14 at magnesium or zirconium-manganese(2) ratio exceeding 100 : 1 the latter is distributed regularly in collector phase. A decrease of Mg(Zr) : Mn ratio results in the appearance of a broad single line owing to manganese(2) aggragates. Three forms of manganese(2) having different values of g-factor and HFS constants were detected in the phase of zirconium hydroxide
