Description

Some recent activities with the microscopic effective reaction theory (MERT) on elastic, inelastic, breakup, transfer, and knockout processes are reviewed briefly. The following issues have been detailed: the 3 nucleon force effect on elastic and inelastic scattering, the decay mode of the 21+ state of 6He, the 3-body dynamics in the 8B(d,n)9C reaction and the asymmetry of parallel momentum distribution of (p,pN) reaction residues. As a possible alternative to MERT, a description of elastic and inelastic scattering with the continuum particle-vibration coupling (cPVC) method is also discussed
