One- and two-step processes in 6 Li(7 Li, 7 Be)6 He reaction at E(7 Li) = 78 MeV

Description
The angular distributions of the 6 Li(7 Li, 7 Be)6 He reaction were measured at E(7 Li) = 78 MeV projectile energy for the transitions to the ground and first excited states of 6 He and 7 Be nuclei. The experimental data were analyzed with the one-step charge-exchange and two-step nucleon transfer mechanisms using DWBA and coupled reaction channels methods. A satisfactory description of experimental data was obtained with usage of direct charge-exchange processes at small angles and with the two-step nucleon transfers at large angles. 38 refs., 8 figs., 2 tabs
