Double ionization chamber for studies on fission fragment spectra
Creators
Description
Using the example of measurement of the mass and energy characteristics of coincident fragments produced by spontaneous fission of 252Cf and by fission if 235U by thermal neutrons, the possibilities of a double ionization chamber are discussed. A comparison is made with similar data obtained by means of silicon semiconductor detectors. The mass and energy resolutions of the ionization chamber are estimated
