Description
An enhancement with a width of about 50 MeV is observed near the sum of the Δ(1236) and nucleon masses in the effective mass distribution of the two-proton system in the deuteron break-up reaction. The possible mechanisms leading to the production of the peak are discussed. (Auth.)
