Paramagnetism of certain terbium chalkogenides

Description
Magnetic properties of compounds TbX, Tb2X3, TbX2 (where X is S, Se, Te) are studied in the 77-300 K temperature range. It is assumed that magnetic properties of terbium chalcogenides is mainly defined by the composition stoichiometry, which in its turn is closely related to the crystal lattice structure of compounds. For compounds TbX1-n the occurrence of vacancies in the chalcogen sublattice is typical
