Measurement method of prostaglandin with special reference of investigation of some problems in its radioimmunoassay

Description
As a means to obtain recovery ratio of extraction and separation process of endogenous prostaglandin (PG) as a constitution factor of fat, reliance of 3H-PG was examined. Furthermore, to establish the possibility that gap between measurement values by gas-liquid chromatography - mass spectrometry and those by RIA may become a remote cause of disorganization of treatment conditions for extraction, the same samples treated by the same extraction and separation method were analysed by radioimmunoassay (RIA), enzymatic assay (EA), bioassay (BA), and immunochemical assay (ICA), and the obtained values were compared. For the purpose of exploiting RIA which is possible to be measured by using well-type scintillation counter used widely, RIA of PG was compared with usual methods by using PGF2α-125I-tyrosin methylester amide (TMA).
