Description
The Isobaric Analogue Resonances (IARs) in sup(66)Zn have been studied through sup(65)Cu(p,n)sup(65)Zn were carried out in 5 KeV steps from threshold to about 4.2 MeV proton bombarding energy. The shapes of IARs observed in the excitation function at E = 2.874, 2.953, 3.332, 3.531, 3.732 MeV were determined accurately by taking data over the IARs in 2.5 KeV steps repeatedly. A detailed shape analysis of the IARs observed in the present work has been carried out following the procedure of Kailas et al to extract proton partial widths and spectroscopic factors (SFs). A comparative study is made with the SFs of corresponding states in sup(66)Cu obtained from sup(65)Cu(d,p)sup(66)Cu reaction. (auth.)
