Crystallization process control by dynamic action of welding arc
Description
A method of arc-welding joints grinding by the application of intermittent short pulses of high power current has been developed. The method was tried experimentally with the following materials: titanium alloy BT-14, nickel-based alloys BJ-98 and BJ-100, high temperature steel EhI-696 and niobium alloy. The most effective structure grinding occurs at a recurrent pulse frequency of 12.5H. The weld metal with a ground structure has high plasticity and hot crack resistant properties
