Correlation coefficient method to calculate the nuclear safety equipment qualification sample representativeness

Description

The representativeness of nuclear safety equipment qualification sample is directly related to that whether the qualification conclusion can be extrapolated to the actual equipment. The qualification sample representativeness criteria in IEEE standard and the sample selection method are discussed. A sample representativeness calculation method based on correlation coefficient is proposed. The sample representativeness obtained by the method can be quantified and the results are accurate.
