Preparation and chemical characterization of plutonium-239 metal used for half-life measurement
Description
The preparation by an electro-refining process of 239Pu metal used for half-life measurements and the subsequent chemical characterization of the metal in three laboratories are described. Data are presented for isotopic composition, total plutonium content, and metal and nonmetal impurities including other actinides. (U.K.)
