Description
It is found that a numerical solution of a fully relativistic wave equation with purely 'attractive' π and sigma meson exchanges yield deuteron wave functions with a repulsive core. The sigma meson exchange parameters are adjusted to give the correct binding energy and quadrupole moment. Two models with D state probabilities of 6.3% and 5.1% are presented. (Auth.)
