Study of the physical composition of sup(99m)Tc-glutamate by double tracer techniques with 14C and sup(99m)Tc

Description
To elucidate its physical composition, the complex of sup(99m)Tc-glutamate with L-(U-14C) glutamic acid was prepared. Comparative studies by paper chromatography, and distribution studies (both in normal animals and in rats with experimentally induced tumours) were done. The results of those experiments, and the kinetics of clearance from blood, show that sup(99m)Tc-glutamate obtained with Sn(II) as the reducing agents, is composed by the coordination complex of sup(99m)Tc-glutamate, and a colloid of sup(99m)Tc (exent of glutamate)
