Study on the improvement plan for comprehensive emergency management system

Description

Recently, the rearrangement for the emergency response system for nuclear facilities is needed and the strengthened physical protection and improved emergency facilities is also needed as the threat of terrorism is increasing against major facilities. So, the comprehensive emergency management system in KAERI describes the requirements for emergency response and recovery activities to timely and effectively countermeasure according to the type and size of an event. The comprehensive emergency management rule for KAERI should be enacted and the work scope of emergency preparedness of each departments should also be rearranged, and the emergency response facilities and equipments should be established based on the related laws, and the preparation of the facilities and equipments should be assured, if necessary, more research for the comprehensive emergency management could be carried out
