Description

The presentation and paper State of activities on remediation of the Andreeva Bay facility by Anatoly Grigoriyev from Rosatom, Russia, provided an overview of CEG member projects (Russia, United Kingdom, Norway, Sweden, EU and Italy) at the site. These included planning of remediation work and extensive infrastructure enhancements for handling RW and SNF. The key projects that were conducted: the Comprehensive Engineering and Radiation Survey and Justification of Investments for the management of SNF and RW in Andreeva Bay. These projects funded by Norway, UK and Sweden will form a basis for future work supported by other donors - Italy and EBRD.
