10 kA current leads for superconducting magnet systems
Description
The design and test results of 10 kA cooled current leads for superconducting magnet systems are described. Current-cargying parts of the current lead are seven coaxial copper pipes 0.5 mm thick between which gaseous helium flows. During tests at 10 kA the heat flow into cryostat through current leads was 28 W. The developed current leads were used for testing models of current-carrying elements for the T-15 facility
