Radiation processing of cotton seeds in the installation with cesium radiation source

Description

Experience with the use in Central Asia of an installation for irradiating downy cotton seeds is reported. The unit has been designed and constructed in the All-Union Research Institute of Radiation Technology and has a Cs137 source as its principal radiation element. The design of the unit is described.
