95Zr and 95Nb sorption from uranium-containing nitrate solutions on tin/IV/ phosphate

Description
Sorption of zirconium(IV), niobium(V) and uranium(VI) on tin(IV) phosphate at different nitric acid concentrations, under static conditions has been studied. The possibility of purifying uranium-containing solutions from 95Zr/95Nb by filtering them through a column of tin(IV) phosphate is shown. The conditions of the desorption of these fission products have been determined, which permit the use of the sorbent repeatedly. (F.Gy.)
