Evaluation of the parabolic cylinder function in the context of nuclear physics
Description
The simple, rapid and accurate methods for the computation of parabolic cylinder function Dv(x), their parametric zeros and integral of the product of these functions are suggested. The efficient algorithms for evaluating some special functions required for implementing these methods on a computer are presented. A new algorithm for numerical integration of the Weber equation is derived. 12 refs., 1 tab
