Characterization studies of gamma irradiated and unirradiated polymethylmethacrylate
Description
In the present study characterization of unirradiated and gamma irradiated (30 kGy) polymethylmethacrylate and its fractions in acetone solution was carried out viscometrically at 25C and compared with each other. Both unirradiated and irradiated PMMA have shown similar behavior in various types of viscosities. The characterization of the polymer was carried out to determine changes in various parameters, such as molecular weight, size and shape of irradiated polymer as compared to unirradiated PMMA. The present work is a comparative study of characterization of unirradiated and gamma irradiated PMMA. (A.B.)
