Spectral fluctuation density in a drop of fermi fluid
Description
Space collective vibrations of nuclei are investigated on the basis of the fermi-liquid drop model. In the model interaction between quasinucleons inside a nucleus is described using the kinetic equation of the Landau fermi-liquid theory and for a description of interaction taking place in a surface region of a nucleus an additional boundary condition is used. In the paper the spectrum of intrinsic excitations in a drop has been obtained and correlation functions for the nuclear matter density, which describe the spectral density of fluctuations, have been calculated. The functions represent the response functions of the system to an external excitation and therefore they may be used to describe various processes of interaction between particles and nuclei. The dependence of the obtained results on nuclear parameters is given
